Guard Booth of the Month
The booth of the month of February is the guard booth of the Palace which is located on Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida, The Palace Condominium wanted to replace an old guard booth they purchased from Mardan over 20 years ago. Though the guard booth was still in excellent shape, they wanted to modernize it. They wanted an aesthetic that would match the newly renovated condominium and wanted to make sure that whatever guard booth they chose would be able to withstand the highly volatile salt conditions and not rust. That’s why the MFI prefabricated aluminum custom security guard booth was perfect for this location. They purchased a 6′ x 10′ security booth with custom overhangs with LED lights in them over each transaction window. Also, they customized it with custom metallic silver exterior paint and reflective hurricane impact resistant glass. The reflective glass is the same impact resistant glass that the main building recently installed. This security guard booth also included pre-wired electrical package, wall-mounted HVAC, aluminum non-skid treadplate floor, and workstation for computers etc. This booth is State of Florida modular building approved to meet High Velocity Hurricane Zone requires of 175mph in Miami-Dade County.
This guard booth 19-042 is one of Mardan Fabrication prefabricated booth applications. Mardan prefab guard booths or security booths are pre-assembled with aluminum construction. Mardan guard booths and security booths are also portable, and easy to move with a forklift.
