Mardan Fabrication security booths, also known as guard booths or guard houses include one interior light fixture with wall switch. Generally, we will use an LED light because it is efficient and helps with energy consumption. If the security booth is larger, than we’ll end up using multiple LED lights as long as it meets the energy code requirements of the location the booth is being installed in. For the exterior of the guard booths, we offer multiple options for exterior light fixtures. Duplex flood lights, recessed can lights, soffit-mounted lights are all available upon request.
This particular security booth is located at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. MFI model number 17-005. This guard booth was manufactured with a custom overhang in which they purchased soffit-mounted LED light fixtures. The lights were controlled with a photocell, which is a requirement of the code. Also included was a manual power switch so if the entrance to the university was closed, then they could be shut off.
